ADELE, DRAKE, LANA DEL REY IN TALKS TO PERFORM AT AMBANIS' WEDDING
After pop queen Rihanna's performance at the grand pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, there is strong buzz that the couple is in talks to fly down singers Adele, Drake and Lana Del Rey for their Mumbai wedding.
Sources tell India Today that the singers might arrive in India to perform at the wedding celebrations that are set to take place between July 12-14. They also sharedthat currently negotiations and talks are on to secure the dates of these artists for the wedding celebrations. After the Jamnagar celebrations, other international acts that made an appearance at the cruise celebrations were The Backstreet Boys, Pitbull and Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, who performed for a live audience on the Italian island of Portofino.
Meanwhile, ahead of their youngest son Anant Ambani's wedding, Nita and Mukesh Ambani organised a mass wedding for over 50 underprivileged couplesfrom Maharashtra's Palghar today, July 2.
The mass wedding function, meanwhile,was held at the Reliance Corporate Park in Thanewith around 800 people representing the families of the couples. Nita and Mukesh Ambani, along with Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, and Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, were present at the event.
Anant Ambani's wedding festivitiescommenced with an intimate puja ceremony at the Ambanis' Mumbai residence, Antilia, on June 29. The couple will get married on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Their wedding, spanning over three days, features three events - 'Shubh Vivaah' followed by 'Shubh Aashirwad' on July 13 and 'Mangal Utsav' or the wedding reception on July 14.
