SONAKSHI-ZAHEER WEDDING: SHATRUGHAN SINHA, WIFE POONAM PERFORM 'KANYADAAN' CEREMONY
A new video from Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding has emerged. It shows Sonakshi's parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha performing 'kanyadaan' (a Hindu ritual ceremony). Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 in Mumbai, in the presence of their family and close friends.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal joined hands in the viral video from their wedding. The 'Dabangg' actor's parents were seen performing the 'kanyadaan' ritual with their priest reciting mantras (spiritual chants).The couple twinned in ivory in the video that is going viral from the occasion.

Earlier today, a video of Sonakshi and Zaheer from their registry went viral. She was wearing the same saree as in the clip above. After fulfilling the legalities, Sonakshi jumped with joy as Zaheer gave her a peck on the cheek, followed by a warm hug.

The couple dropped dreamy photos from their wedding ceremony on June 26. Sharing the same, they wrote, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs, leading up to this moment where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods⦠we are now man and wife. Here's to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever (sic)."
Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on Sunday, after seven years of courtship.
