'KALKI 2898 AD' BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 4: THE PRABHAS' FILM MINTS RS 302 CRORE IN INDIA IN ALL LANGUAGES

Nag Ashwin's highly anticipated film 'Kalki 2898 AD', released on June 27, has become a sensation, captivating audiences worldwide and making significant business in India and worldwide. Starring renowned actors Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, the movie is garnering universal praise for its gripping storyline and stunning visuals.

According to Sacnilk, 'Kalki 2898 AD' has collected an impressive Rs. 85 crore on its fourth day in India across all languages, pushing its total earnings to Rs 302 crore in the country. The film enjoyed a remarkable 84.24% occupancy in Telugu-speaking regions on Sunday. Notably, the Telugu version alone contributed Rs 36.8 crore, while the Hindi version soared to Rs 39 crore on the same day.

The pan-India appeal of the movie is evident, with high occupancy rates reported in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The production house shared an official update celebrating the film's box office success, highlighting that 'Kalki 2898 AD' had surpassed the 500 crore mark worldwide.

Specifically in North America, the movie has been a tremendous success, as the first weekend come to an end, the makers shared, "For the first time, a film hits $11 MILLION in its first weekend in North America #Kalki2898AD ~ North America ~ $11M & Counting"

Produced on a grand scale with a budget of Rs 600 crore, 'Kalki 2898 AD' blends science fiction with Indian mythology. Prabhas takes on the role of Bhairava, a bounty hunter, while Deepika Padukone is portrayed as a pregnant mother called, SUM-80. Amitabh Bachchan plays the mythological character Ashwatthama, and Kamal Haasan is the Supreme leader named Yaskin.

Set in a dystopian future, the movie depicts a world oppressed by dark forces. Deepika Padukone's character, Sumati, is the mother of an unborn child prophesied to be the tenth reincarnation of Lord Vishnu, destined to liberate people from dark times.
