VODAFONE IDEA STOCK PRICE: SHARE UP 39% IN SIX MONTHS, SCALE TO FIVE-YEAR HIGH

Vodafone Idea's stock climbed to its highest level in over five years, reaching 18.7 a piece on Thursday, June 27, marking a nearly 3% increase. This surge was supported by robust trading volumes. The last time the stock reached this level was on March 29, 2019, the day it went ex-rights.

In June, Vodafone Idea shares jumped 21%, outperforming the broader market. During the same period, the BSE Sensex rose by 7%. The stock has gained 10% in 2024 so far.

On June 26 in India, Vodafone Idea secured 30 MHz of spectrum across the 900, 1800, and 2500 MHz bands, with an investment of ₹3,510 crore during the spectrum auction.

Last week, a report suggested that the telecom service provider had completed its 5G rollout obligation in all circles. The company has a 5G spectrum in 17 circles. Vodafone Idea has completed the rollout obligation in both spectrum bands, sources have confirmed to CNBC Awaaz.
