APPLE IPHONE 16 SERIES MAY GET MAJOR DESIGN OVERHAUL: WHAT TO EXPECT

The Apple iPhone 16 series is anticipated to be launched in September this year, and rumours and speculations around the next Apple iPhones are already around the internet giving us a sneak peek at what we can expect. Now, according to new leaks, the upcoming iPhone 16 could get a major design overhaul.

TechNetBook has obtained new cases of the iPhone 16, which reveals that the upcoming iPhone 16 may have a vertical rear camera setup, just like the one we witnessed last with the Apple iPhone 12. The new case design also reveals a new cutout at the right side of the phone design, where we can see a dedicated camera shutter button, for the iPhone 16 Pro models.

The dedicated shutter button is expected to be powered by the haptic engine, allowing users to focus on a subject with a soft tap and take a picture with two taps or a hard press. Previously, many reports also suggested that Apple might remove all buttons, but this new leak suggests that we could get more physical buttons alongside the volume rockers, the on/off switch, and the ‘Action’ button.

Like last year’s Apple iPhone 15 Pro, the upcoming iPhone 16 is also expected to come with the ‘Action’ button. This customizable button could replace the traditional mute switch, and offer multiple options to choose various functions. This means that the entire iPhone 16 series could have major design upgrades.
