Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Nicholai Sachdev's pre-wedding festivities commenced with a mehndi ceremony at a plush hotel on June 30. Rayane Mithun, daughter of Radikaa Sarathkumar, gave a glimpse of the fun-filled mehndi ceremony. A video of Sarathkumar dancing to 'Appadi Podu' from 'Ghilli has also surfaced on ther Internet. The couple will reportedly get married in the presence of family and friends on July 2.
The theme for the mehndi is all-things green. Varalaxmi and Nicholai were dressed in green outfits and so were the guests who attended the ceremony.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Nicholai Sachdev got engaged in a private ceremony earlier this year. The couple knew each other for 14 years, but fell in love recently. Reportedly, the wedding will take place on July 2, which will be followed by a lavish reception in Chennai.
