WATCH: FRIGHTENING VIDEO SHOWS TRANSFORMER CATCHING FIRE IN DELHI’S NAJAFGARH

This summer, Delhi saw many fire accidents, particularly involving air-conditioning units and electrical equipment catching fire or exploding due to overheating, exacerbated by prolonged use in high temperatures. A video that is going viral on social media captured a transformer installed in Old Roshanpura area of Delhi's Najafgarh catching fire.

The video shared by Instagram user @prateekdahiya007 captured the transformer, which is very close to an apartment building, going up in flames, resulting in sparks and alarming firecracker-like explosions.

Those recording the video could be heard talking about the apartment next to the transformer. One person can also be heard asking someone else whether "BSES" officials have been alerted about the incident.
