After days of intense heatwave and humidity, Delhi residents, on Thursday, rejoiced as moderate to heavy rain lashed several parts of the capital. Residents shared their excitement and relief by sharing videos capturing the stunning weather on social media.

“Light to moderate intensity rain and gusty winds with speed of 30-40 km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of few places of Delhi during the next two hours,” the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a post on X at 7.30 am on Thursday.
According to IMD, temperatures will range from a high of 38 degree Celsius to a low of 29 degree Celsius on June 27. The IMD also predicted very light rain or thunderstorms with similar gusty winds.
