During the event, Mr. Bachchan touched producer Ashwini C Dutt’s feet after receiving the first ticket for the film from him. This humble gesture won over social media, prompting director Ram Gopal Varma to react to the incident. Varma posted on his X account, “Here is the UPPER LIMIT of achievement for Ashwini Dutt by Amitabh Bachchan doing this. I doubt from N T Rama Rao onwards till the latest young heroes anybody would have done this. I have never seen Big B also do this to any other producer. Hats off to Dutt Garu.”

‘Vidaamuyarchi’ release

Kannada film industry star Darshan Thoogudeepa, widely known as the "Challenging Star," has found himself embroiled in a significant controversy following his arrest by Bengaluru police last week. The actor is accused of orchestrating the murder of 33-year-old pharmacy worker Renuka Swamy. According to a report by Aaj Tak, Darshan admitted in his statement to the police that he borrowed Rs 40 lakh from a friend. He used this money to pay his associates to destroy evidence connected to the murder. Furthermore, he reportedly paid Rs 30 lakh to other individuals to surrender and take the blame for the crime, in an attempt to divert attention away from himself.
