After earning around Rs 81 crore in 10 days, 'Maharaja' fell deep, and it took another 9 days to add the remaining numbers to become Vijay Sethupathi's first 100 crore grosser.

The domestic collection of 'Maharaja' is estimated to be around Rs 76 crore, while the balance has come from the overseas market as the film turned out to be Vijay Sethupathi's best in the overseas region. In Tamil Nadu, 'Maharaja' reported earning Rs 54 crore as the main backing for the film came from the home state. 'Maharaja' makers have already declared the film a blockbuster, and they earlier expressed their gratitude to audiences and media for their immense support of the film.

Vijay Sethupathi played an impressive role in Nithilan Saminathan's directorial, which revolves around a mystery.
