Leela began learning Bharatanatyam as a kid. She aspires to become a doctor.

Sreeleela made her acting debut in 2017 with the Telugu horror film Chitrangada. She came into limelight after appearing in the Kannada-language romantic comedy drama film Kiss. It was directed by AP Arjun and produced by V Ravi Kumar under his banner, Rashtrakuta Pictures. Kiss achieved commercial success after finishing a 100-day theatrical run at the box office.

She was last seen in Guntur Kaaram alongside Mahesh Babu. The action drama film was written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S Radha Krishna through Haarika & Hassine Creations. Sreeleela is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film, Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Harish Shankar is directing the film, which is produced jointly by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.
