'CHANDU CHAMPION' BOX OFFICE DAY 9: KARTIK AARYAN STARRER SEES GOOD GROWTH AND CROSSES THE 40 CRORE MARK

Actor Kartik Aaryan is currently rocking the headlines for his recently released film 'Chandu Champion', which is receiving love from both fans and celebrities.

The film also entered the 40 crore mark, as it minted Rs 4.85 crore on Saturday, as per reports by Sacnilk.com. This is despite facing competition from the new release 'Ishq Vishq Rebound', Abhay Verma, and Sharvari’s Munjya.

The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 42.75 crore, and it will aim to reach Rs 50 crore collection by the end of the week.

Meanwhile, the film's box office journey started strong, earning Rs 5.40 crore on its opening Friday. It saw a significant 45% increase on Saturday, bringing in Rs 7.70 crore. The upward trend continued on Sunday with an impressive 100% growth, resulting in collections of Rs 11.01 crore.

Going by the trend, on Sunday, the film is aiming for an increase in earnings, with expected revenue of around Rs 8–9 crore. If achieved, this will push the film's total earnings past the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of the second weekend.

Kartik Aaryan's 'Chandu Champion' showcases the story of India's first-ever Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. The movie also features Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Sonali Kulkarni, and Bhuvan Arora in prominent roles. The film was released on June 14.
