BLACKPINK'S LISA WAVES THE CHECKERED FLAG AND ENGAGES WITH RACERS AT THE F1 MIAMI GRAND PRIX

Lisa from BLACKPINK added a pop of pink to the Miami International Autodrome last Sunday as she waved the Formula 1 Grand Prix flag and mingled with the Oracle Red Bull Racing team.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Lisa shared snapshots from the event, expressing “Honored to wave the flag at my first @f1.” In one photo, she poses with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, while in another, she waves the checkered flag from the pit wall, marking the end of the race.

In a quick snap, the singer known for "Money" is seen alongside Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who came in second place to McLaren's Lando Norris on race day. In another image, Lisa, dressed in a stylish tailored beige jacket and miniskirt ensemble, waves the checkered flag from the pit wall. According to F1's official website, this iconic flag signifies “marks the end of any practice session, qualifying session or race, and is waved until all competing cars have reached it.”

Additional photographs from the day capture Lisa interacting with mechanics from the Oracle team and exploring the impressive display of sleek race cars at the track.

The outing follows RCA Records' recent announcement of Lisa's partnership deal with the label through her LLOUD Co. management and creative company. This contract enables her to retain ownership of her solo master recordings while maintaining her ongoing music releases with Interscope Records as a member of BLACKPINK.

Apart from her group activities, Lisa has launched two successful singles, "Lalisa" and "Money," both of which made waves on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. "Money" notably achieved a milestone as the first solo K-pop track to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify in September.

Expressing her enthusiasm about joining RCA, Lisa stated, “I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family, and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career,”. “Looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing.”
