Despite relinquishing the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad for IPL 2024, Dhoni is frequently observed guiding players, directing bowlers to specific areas, and positioning fielders strategically against particular batsmen.

In a recent IPL 2024 match, a video of Dhoni has gone viral, showcasing the former CSK captain expressing frustration towards a player.

Dhoni, who captained Chennai Super Kings since the inception of the league in 2008 and guided them to five IPL titles, handed over the CSK captaincy to Gaikwad a day before their IPL opener against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
