NEW DELHI: Although Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have passed on the captaincy mantle, his leadership prowess remains as strong as ever. Despite relinquishing the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad for IPL 2024, Dhoni is frequently observed guiding players, directing bowlers to specific areas, and positioning fielders strategically against particular batsmen.

In a recent IPL 2024 match, a video of Dhoni has gone viral, showcasing the former CSK captain expressing frustration towards a player.

Dhoni, who captained Chennai Super Kings since the inception of the league in 2008 and guided them to five IPL titles, handed over the CSK captaincy to Gaikwad a day before their IPL opener against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
