Legendary actor Kamal Haasan has reportedly flown to the United States to pursue a 90-day course in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at a leading institute in the country. As per a recent report by Deccan Herald. The 69-year-old actor, known for his exemplary work in Indian cinema, is now turning his focus to AI, a field that is changing industries around the globe.

According to reports, Kamal Haasan left for the US the last weekend to begin the course, however, he is expected to attend for only 45 days due to professional commitments back in India. The actor will return midway to fulfil his ongoing work obligations, and work on his films Thug Life, Indian 2 and Kalki 2898 AD.

A report on Deccan Chronicle states that Kamal Haasan is heading to the USA to keenly study AI and understand its use, after which he would think of sorting dates and time for his films. Besides, he has to wrap up 50 percent of the shooting of Thug Life since he reunited with ace director Mani Ratnam after more than three decades, and expectations are sky high.
