SAMANTHA IRVIN, WHO IS ENGAGED TO RICOCHET SHARES A HEARTFELT MESSAGE AS HIS CONTRACT EXPIRES

Ricochet recently made news as his contract with WWE expired. Samantha Irvin chose this occasion to take to social media and share a heartfelt post. It was reported previously that his contract was about to expire, as The One and Only did not want to renew his deal with the promotion. Now that he is a free agent, he is expected to sign a contract with Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling. This comes as a shock as he shot up to fame when he became the first wrestler to win all three of WWE’s three major Secondary Titles: the United State Championship, the Intercontinental Championship and NXT North American Championship.

In light of this, Samantha Irvin who is engaged to Ricochet shared a recent picture of him on her Instagram story and penned, “My Everything.” Irvin is an announcer and is going to continue with WWE. The WWE star and Irvin announced their relationship back in November 2021. Since then they have been public about their relationship with multiple posts on social media over the years. The WWE star also made his affections public when he shared a picture to commemorate their first date at the Grand Canyon and wrote, “It’s been a year [since] we found ourselves at the Grand Canyon! It’s really been the best year I could have asked for. You’ve helped me grow more than anyone, you’ve been there for me more than anyone and you’ve loved me better than anyone. I really got lucky to have someone like you as my life partner! I love you @samanthairvinwwe ,”

They also announced their engagement on Instagram via a collaborative post, where Ricochet wrote, “She said YES! When you find that one person. The one person that when you close your eyes you could never visualize life without them… you keep them close to your heart. Now we are closer than ever. @samanthairvinwwe I love you so much .”

Will Ospreay shared in an interview that he hoped that things worked out for Ricochet

In light of Ricochet becoming a free agent, Will Ospreay has only had praises to shower on the former WWE star. In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, he said, "Honestly, so I've said this to a lot of people recently. I've been shouting his name off in the distance for years and I really do mean years. And it's only now, just because his contract is coming up, people are thinking something's gonna happen. Listen, I speak to Ricochet every now and then. There's nothing been said between us about whether something is gonna pop off, but honestly, I hope he does."

Ricochet had signed with WWE at the age of 35 and became a popular name with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Lucha Underground and other companies. He then got called up to the main roster in 2019.
