‘YEH TO RAJIV CHOWK HAI’: VIRAL VIDEO SHOWS STAMPEDE-LIKE SITUATION AT METRO STATION IN CANADA, NETIZENS REACT

A viral video of a large number of people flocking to a metro station in Canada has triggered a debate on social media. Shared by Instagram handle @battrytings, the video captures the chaos as several people try to board a metro train.

The video begins with a few commuters, seemingly Indians, moving back and forth to board the metro. As the video progresses, the camera pans into the overcrowded platform. The display board shows Eastbound and westbound flashing on it. The text on the video read, “Metro in Canada. What do you notice?”

Shared last month on Instagram, the video accumulated multiple reactions triggering a debate. Reacting to it, a user commented, “When British left India they taught India to invade other countries.” Another user wrote, “I don’t know what problem some people have with Indian origin foreigners. Contribute a lot to the society and earn the most, pay their taxes on time.”

“Ye to rajiv chowk hai! (This is Rajiv Chowk),” a third user wrote. “throw a deodorant to them and watch them scatter like roache,” another user commented. "Before talking about Indians, get white-americans back to Europe," a user argued.

Last month, a video of Indians trying to board a bus in Ruislip, West London sparked a debate on mass immigration. The viral video showed two white, middle-aged women looking at a crowd as they tried to board the bus.

Earlier, a video showed a long queue outside a store hiring employees.
