Sonata Software: Merger UPDATE - Shares of leading Computers - Software & Consulting Company, Sonata Software, will remain in focus tomorrow as the company has announced a major update regarding the merger of its subsidiaries. In an exchange filing, the company stated that the merger of Sonata Software LLC, USA (formerly known as Sopris Systems LLC) with Sonata Software North America Inc, USA, the wholly-owned material subsidiary of Sonata Software Limited, has been completed. Sonata Software LLC was a wholly-owned subsidiary of SSNA.

"Please note that the merger of Sonata Software LLC, USA (formerly known as Sopris Systems LLC) with Sonata Software North America Inc, USA (“SSNA”), the wholly-owned material subsidiary of Sonata Software Limited, has been completed," Sonata Software said in an exchange filing on the BSE.

Earlier, in an exchange filing dated July 25, 2022, Sonata Software had informed the exchanges that the company's Board of Directors had given in-principle approval for the merger of Sopris Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Sonata Software North America, Inc., with Sonata Software North America, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

Shares of Sonata Software ended today's trading session with gains at Rs 647.80, up 3.64 per cent from its previous close of Rs 625.05 on the BSE.
