LEOPARD GETS STUCK IN HOLE IN ANDHRA PRADESH, CAPTURED BY FOREST OFFICIALS

Panic struck residents of Devanagaram in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasam district when a leopard got stuck in a hole in the nearby forest area, officials said on Thursday.

Authorities made extensive efforts to capture the leopard by setting up a cage and using a goat as bait. But, when the leopard did not appear, forest officials alerted their superiors.

Subsequently, a rescue operation for the animal was launched.

With the assistance of BNS Murthy, the field director overseeing three districts, the forest officials successfully captured the leopard and took it away.
