Former KFCC president Sa Ra Govindu emphasised that the film industry should not be held responsible for the actions of a few individuals. "People had huge respect for the movie industry, as exemplified by legends like Dr. Rajkumar and Dr. Vishnuvardhan," he said.

KFCC President Condemns Incident

Meanwhile, KFCC President N M Suresh condemned the incident unequivocally. "Regardless of who did it, it was wrong. The KFCC stands against such acts. We were deeply moved by the parents' grief," he said.

Regarding imposing a ban on Darshan, N M Suresh noted that the film body alone could not take such decisions and that artistes' and producers' associations would also have to be consulted on the issue. "While past stars like Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Shankar Nag, and Ambareesh had devoted fans, today's fans seem more excitable. This incident seems to have stemmed from provocation, and we urge fans to exercise caution," he advised.
