I WAS AMAZED AT HOW EVERYTHING CAME UNDER CONTROL AND LIFE BECAME NORMAL AFTER THE HEAVY RAINS IN DUBAI: ROHIT ROY

Rohit Roy and his wife Manasi Joshi Roy had to wait at Mumbai airport for six hours, before they could fly out to Dubai, where they were heading for their birthday celebrations.

Rohit said, “April 5 was my birthday and April 15 was Manasi’s birthday. After reaching Mumbai airport it was a chaos because all flights to Dubai were cancelled initially. Our flight was delayed by 6 hours and we reached at 1 am yesterday. Cars were submerged in the floods when we reached, and it was sad, because it is my favourite country."

Fortunately, when the actor reached Dubai, he was not really stuck in the situation because things were getting normal. He said, " Rather than talk about how the rains disrupted things for those few hours, I would like to speak about how everything was in control and things got back to normal. Manasi and I also went out and enjoyed ourselves. It is amazing how this country brought things back to normal after such heavy rains."

On the work front, Rohit was last seen in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, while his wife and actress Manasi was seen in the TV show Kyunki Saas Ma Bahu Beti Hoti Hai. In an earlier interview to BT, Rohit had shared his Fear Factor experience. He said, "I said yes to the show because I have been wanting to be part of the show for many years now. I am looking forward to the stunts and adventure. My wife Manasi played an important role in motivating me to participate in the show."
