HYBE-ADOR FEUD: POLICE ACCELERATE INVESTIGATION INTO CEO MIN HEE-JIN'S ALLEGED MISCONDUCT DUE TO 'PUBLIC INTEREST'

The Seoul Police's commissioner Cho Ji-ho has vowed to expedite the investigation into the complaint filed against ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. HYBE had lodged the complaint against the ADOR CEO.

Police expedite investigation into CEO Min Hee-jin's alleged misconduct

On May 7, commissioner Cho Ji-ho held a press conference at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Seoul Office in Jongno-gu to announce his plans to expedite the investigation into the complaint filed by HYBE against ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. "Given the high level of public interest, we will conduct a thorough investigation at a faster pace than usual," the commissioner stated at the press conference.

Chief Cho Ji-ho also revealed that the investigation is currently in the stage of reviewing records and emphasized that the absence of confirmed figures does not invalidate the allegations. Stressing on the importance of uncovering the truth, the commissioner promised that a thorough and comprehensive investigation is underway.

For the unversed, on April 25, HYBE lodged a complaint at the Yongsan Police Station in which the company accused ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and vice president Shin Dong-hoon of breach of trust. Following an interim audit of ADOR, HYBE revealed that they had obtained concrete evidence that indicated Min Hee-jin's plan to seize management control over ADOR.

HYBE-ADOR's ongoing feud

In case you missed out, HYBE and ADOR are in the midst of a massive feud. It all started on April 22, HYBE initiated an audit against ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. HYBE accused ADOR's CEO and management of devising a plan to gain complete control of the sub-label, leaking sensitive information to external entities and attempts to tarnish the reputation of HYBE and its artists.

Following the audit by HYBE, Min Hee-jin held a press conference on April 25 in which she revealed shocking chats with HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk, clarified accusations about a shaman being involved in label-related decisions and commented on NewJeans' future.
