SEVENTEEN CLAIMS NO. 1 ON ORICON CHART, ACHIEVING RECORD FOR MOST CHART-TOPPERS BY AN OVERSEAS ACT

SEVENTEEN has once again claimed the top spot on Japan's Oricon Weekly Album Chart with their latest best album '17 IS RIGHT HERE', reaffirming their place as a leading force in K-pop. The album sold an impressive 333,000 copies in its debut week, marking not only the highest album sales for the week ending May 13 but also the most substantial weekly sales for any international artist this year, according to Oricon.

This achievement marks SEVENTEEN's twelfth time at the top of the Oricon chart, further extending their record-breaking streak as the international artist with the most No. 1s on this prestigious chart. Since their ninth mini album 'Attacca' in 2021, SEVENTEEN has continuously achieved number one rankings with their subsequent releases, now totaling eight consecutive chart-toppers.

Upon its release, '17 IS RIGHT HERE' achieved the remarkable milestone of becoming a double million-seller. The album dominated both domestic and international charts, debuting at No. 1 on the Hanteo Chart with an impressive initial sales figure of 2.96 million copies in the first week.

The album's title track 'MAESTRO' immediately soared to the top of iTunes 'Top Songs' charts in 32 countries/regions worldwide, securing the number one spot on the global song charts. In South Korea, 'MAESTRO' and other new unit songs from the album like 'LALALI', 'Spell', and 'Youth Anthem' made significant entries into top positions on major music charts such as Melon, Genie Music, and Bugs, once again highlighting SEVENTEEN's reputation for delivering high-quality music.

SEVENTEEN is poised to reinforce their standing as K-pop's premier group with an upcoming major stadium tour in Japan titled 'SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN'. The tour will kick off on May 18-19 at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, followed by performances on May 25-26 at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, each capable of accommodating over 70,000 attendees. This tour is generating immense excitement among their global fan base, solidifying SEVENTEEN's position as a powerhouse in the world of K-pop.
