KUSH SHAH OF TAARAK MEHTA GETS EMOTIONAL AS HE LEAVES THE SHOW AFTER 16 YEARS, ASIT MODI INTRODUCES NEW GOLI

The TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been running successfully for the last 16 years, and many actors have left and rejoined the show.

The latest to leave the show is the audience's favorite Goli, which was famously played by Kush Shah. The actor, who joined the show when it was launched in July 2008, had now quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to pursue his education.

Kush Shah is now in the US for further studies. He was also spotted by a fan who had asked him the same, and then he said that he had quit the show.

In the upcoming episodes, Kush will be seen bidding adieu to his character, and he gets emotional while he cuts his farewell cake.

Taarak Mehta's Jethalal Dilip Joshi, Palak Sindhwani, Asit Modi, and others were there at his farewell. Asit Kumar said: "Goli has spent his entire childhood here and made his place in everyone’s hearts. He has been very consistent since Day 1. Kush, thank you and all the best. Dil se shubh kamnaye. Tu aage badh.”

Kush Shah  also thanked the audience for all the love and then introduced the new Goli.

Kush said, "I'll make you all proud. Thank you so much. I have completed 16 years in this show. And the journey of these 16 years was very beautiful. So remembering your love, I take your leave for this show. But, yes, only I, Kush Shah, take your leave. Your Goli will remain the same. The same happiness, the same laughter, the same mischief. An actor might change in Taarak, but not the character,' he says before signing off.

Many actors have in the past quit the show; some rejoined, but others left the show for future prospects.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah airs from Monday to Saturday at 8:30 pm.
