SSC CHSL RESULT 2024 DECLARED, CUT-OFF ANNOUNCED: CHECK TIER 2 REVISED EXAM PATTERN, EXPECTED DATES AND MORE

SSC CHSL 2024 Tier-I Exam Results: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results for Tier-I of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSLE) 2024. The Tier-I exam was conducted in a computer-based format from July 1, 2024, to July 11, 2024. A total of 41,465 candidates have been shortlisted to appear in the Tier-II exam. The dates for the Tier-II exam will be announced by the SSC soon.

Revised SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Pattern 2024

The SSC has introduced a revised exam pattern for the CHSL 2024 Tier-II exam. The new pattern includes three sections, each containing two modules.

The SSC CHSL 2024 Tier-II exam will consist of three sections, each containing two modules. Section 1 includes Module I, which focuses on Mathematical Abilities, and Module II, which covers Reasoning and General Intelligence. Section 2 is divided into Module I, which tests English Language and Comprehension, and Module II, which assesses General Awareness. Section 3 comprises Module I, which is a Computer Knowledge Test, and Module II, which is a Skill Test or Typing Test.

The Tier-II exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. Session I will cover the entirety of Section 1, Section 2, and Module I of Section 3, while Session II will focus solely on Module II of Section 3. The exam will primarily consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions, except for Module II of Section 3. All questions, except those in the English Language and Comprehension module (Section 2, Module I), will be available in both English and Hindi.

Additionally, there will be a penalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Session I, which applies to questions in Section 1, Section 2, and Module I of Section 3.

SSC CHSL Tier-I Result 2024 Cut-offs announced

The cut-off marks for Tier-I have been established using normalised scores. The minimum qualifying marks for different categories are: Unreserved (UR) candidates must score at least 30%, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates require 25%, while candidates from all other categories must achieve a minimum of 20%.

The category-wise cut-offs and the number of candidates shortlisted for Tier-II for both Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) / DEO Grade ‘A’ positions are provided below. It is important to note that candidates from various categories who qualify at the Unreserved cut-off level are also included in the total counts for each category.

Results for 23 candidates are currently withheld for various reasons, while the results of 7 candidates have not been processed due to debarment from SSC examinations or cancellation of candidature.
