SOUTHERN RAILWAY ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO TRAIN SERVICES DUE TO ENGINEERING WORKS ON CHENNAI CENTRAL-ARAKKONAM SECTION
The Southern Railway on Saturday (June 15) announced significant changes in the pattern of EMU train services on the Chennai Central – Arakkonam section to prioritize passenger safety and ensure the smooth operation of train services. As part of ongoing engineering works, a Line Block/Signal Block will be in effect at the Tiruvallur Yard from 00:20 hrs to 04:15 hrs on June 19th and 20th, 2024. As a result, the following changes will be made to the pattern of EMU train services:
Full Cancellation of EMU Train Services
- Train No. 43201: The Moore Market Complex – Tiruvallur EMU local, which usually departs from Moore Market Complex at 04:30 hrs, will be fully canceled on June 19th and 20th, 2024.
- Train No. 43202: The Tiruvallur – Moore Market Complex EMU local, scheduled for departure from Tiruvallur at an unspecified time, will also face full cancellation on the same dates.
