WEST BENGAL CLASS 12 RESULT 2024: ABHIK DAS TOPS WBCHSE HS EXAM WITH 99.2%

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the West Bengal Uchha Madhyamik Result 2024, or the West Bengal HS Result 2024 today, May 8, during a press conference addressed by the WBCHSE president at 1 pm. Out of the total number of students who appeared for the exams, an impressive 6,79,784 students successfully passed, accounting for a pass percentage of 90 percent.

Among the top 10 candidates, a total of 43 candidates are listed, with 13 of them hailing from Hooghly. This year, Abhik Das from McWilliams Higher Secondary School secured the top position in the West Bengal Class 12 board examination with an impressive score of 99.2 percent.

Further, Soumodeep Saha from Narendrapur Ramkrishna Mission Vidyalaya secured the second position. Following closely, Abhishek Gupta from Ramkrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidyamandir secured the third position with an impressive 98.8 percent or 494 marks.

Here are the pass percentage details:

  •     40.92% of students achieved scores of 60% or higher.
  •     22.38% of students achieved scores of 70% or higher.
  •     8.47% of students achieved scores of 80% or higher.
  •     1.23% of students achieved scores of 90% or higher.

WBCHSE 12th result 2024 scorecards and marksheets will be available from 3 pm onwards on official websites such as wbchse.wb.gov.in, wbresults.nic.in, and select mobile apps.

Additionally, students can access their scores on the India Today Board Results page.

Hardcopies of the marksheets and pass certificates will be obtainable from 55 distribution centres, including the four regional offices of the Council, starting from May 10 onwards. The WBCHSE conducted the WB Uchha Madhyamik board exams 2024 from February 16 to 29.

1.    Visit the official websites: wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in.

2.    After 3 pm, on the homepage, find and click on the link for 'West Bengal Uchha Madhyamik Result 2024'.

3.    A new page will appear.

4.    Input your roll number and click on the submit button.

5.    Your WBCHSE Uchha Madhyamik Result 2024 will be displayed on the screen.

6.    Download the result and print it for future reference.
