SHATRUGHAN SINHA WIPES TEARS AS SONAKSHI AND ZAHEER IQBAL EXCHANGE GARLANDS DURING THEIR REGISTERED MARRIAGE - WATCH WEDDING VIDEO
Sonakshi Sinha has dropped an adorable inside glimpse of her at-home wedding and it is all things adorable. The actress got hitched on June 23 in a registered marriage in the balcony of her Bandra high rise home. Surrounded by friends and family, Sonakshi was beaming with joy as she finally took the next step in her relationship with Zaheer.
From the bridesmaids teasing 'jiju' Zaheer to Siddharth recreating Shatrughan Sinha's signature 'Khamosh' dialogue, this wedding video is pakced with love and cherished memories. Sonakshi seemed like the happiest bride ever, with her daddy dearest holdidng onto her throughout the ceremony. As the couple signed on the document and exchanged garlands, Shatrughan Sinha was seen wiping tears. The video concluded with Sonakshi shedding happy tears and the guests cheering the newlyweds. Apart from the document, Sonakshi and Zaheer also said wedding vows to seal the deal.
Sonakshi had captioned the video as, "Family, friends, love, friendship, laughter, silly comments, kids running around, happy tears, excitement, bloopers, screeches, fun, joy, anticipation, nerves, emotions and above all just pure happiness this was our chaotic little Shaadi ka ghar… and it was PERFECT… it was US'.
For her registered marriage, Sonakshi Sinha borrowed heirlooms from her mother's bridal attire. Announcing their union on social media, the couple had shared, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever."
Post the wedding Sonakshi and Iqbal hosted a grand bash for their friends from Bollywood. Salman Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Tabu, Rekha, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditi Rao Hydari among others attended this party.
