JIO BHARAT J1 4G FEATURE PHONE LAUNCHED: PRICE, SPECS AND MORE

Reliance Jio has expanded its feature phone portfolio with the launch of a new model, the Jio Bharat J1 4G. This new feature phone follows the Jio Bharat B2 and Jio Bharat K1 Karbonn 4G models which are already available in the market. The latest Jio Bharat J1 4G features a big screen and a long-lasting battery and is available at a budget-friendly price. Here are all the details:

Jio Bharat J1 4G feature phone: Price and availability

The latest Jio Bharat J1 4G is priced at Rs 1,799. This new feature phone is currently available exclusively on the e-commerce platform Amazon and has not been listed on the company’s own Reliance Digital and JioMart websites.

Looking at the price, the Jio Bharat J1 4G is positioned above the Jio Bharat B2 in terms of features and pricing. Meanwhile, the JioPhone Prima, priced at Rs 2,599, remains Jio’s premium feature phone offering.

Jio Bharat J1 4G feature phone: Key features

As per the Amazon listing, Jio Bharat J1 4G features a 2.8-inch display and offers affordability combined with functionality. The phone supports HD calling, UPI payments via JioMoney, and access to OTT services like Jio Cinema.

This new feature phone comes with a removable 2,500mAh battery for extended usage on a single charge. Additional features of the phone include a 3.5mm audio jack for earphones, a 0.3MP rear camera, a torch, an FM radio, and expandable storage of up to 128GB via a microSD card.

It is important to note that the Jio Bharat J1 is a Jio SIM-locked phone and will require a Jio SIM card for operation. This single SIM device supports 23 Indian languages, making it accessible to a diverse user base.

A standout feature of the Jio Bharat J1 is its 4G VoLTE support, enabling improved voice calls over Jio’s 4G network. The phone also comes preloaded with Jio apps enhancing its functionality beyond basic calling and texting.

Jio Bharat J1 supports over-the-top (OTT) services such as JioTV which will allow users to stream more than 455 live TV channels. Users can also access JioCinema on the phone for movies, videos and sports highlights.

Jio is also offering a JioBharat plan for this phone which is priced at Rs 123. This plan will offer users unlimited calls and 14GB of data per month with a validity of 28 days.
