The Apple iPad (10th Gen) has received a price cut ahead of Apple's "Let Loose" event, with several retailers now offering the base model of the iPad with 64 GB storage at an effective price of Rs 33,900. The iPad is confirmed to become even cheaper during Flipkart's Big Saving Days sale.

Apple released the refreshed 10th-Gen iPad without the home button and with a USB-C port back in 2022 for a starting price of Rs 44,900. Over the last few months, the iPad has witnessed a significant price cut, and during the Flipkart sale, it will be available for less than Rs 30,000 in India. This is also the most affordable iPad with a USB-C port. On Apple's official website, the iPad is currently listed for Rs 39,900.

In terms of looks and feel, the iPad looks almost similar to the more expensive iPad Air. However, unlike the latest iPad Air, the 10th Gen iPad is powered by the A14 Bionic chip, the same processor that powers the iPhone 12 series. It currently runs on iPadOS 17 and is eligible for future iPadOS updates.

The base model of the iPad offers 64 GB of storage and goes up to 256 GB. The device is available as Wi-Fi only and also with cellular connectivity, although, like any other iPad, the cellular network will only be used for data, not for calls.

Apple is hosting its "Let Loose" event on May 7, where the company is expected to announce next-generation iPad Pro models, featuring an M4 processor and an OLED screen, along with updates to the iPad Air lineup. These iPads will be pitched as AI devices and are expected to be capable of offering on-device AI experiences.
