APPLE UNVEILS NEW PENCIL PRO, MAGIC KEYBOARD FOR IPAD AIR, IPAD PRO : PRICE, KEY FEATURES

New iPads weren’t the only thing on Apple’s menu at the Let Loose event as new accessories were also unveiled. Apple announced the new Apple Pencil Pro and an all-new Magic Keyboard.

Apple Pencil Pro features

Apple has integrated a new sensor in the barrel, which can sense a user’s squeeze. A simple squeeze on the Pencil Pro can  bring up a tool palette, quickly switch tools, line weights, and colours.There’s a custom haptic engine that makes intuitive gestures like squeeze, double tap better on the Pencil Pro.

Furthermore, there’s a gyroscope which allows users to roll Apple Pencil Pro for precise control of the tool they’re using. Rotating the barrel changes the orientation of shaped pen and brush tools, just like pen and paper, claims Apple. Apple Pencil Pro brings support for Find My for the first time to Apple Pencil, helping users locate Apple Pencil Pro if misplaced. It pairs, charges, and is stored on the side of the iPad Pro through a new magnetic interface. The new Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the new iPad Pro and is priced at Rs 11,900.

iPad Pro Magic Keyboard features

Apple has made the Magic Keyboard lighter and thinner but retains the same floating design. What’s new is an all-new function row for access to features like screen brightness and volume controls. The trackpad has become larger and Apple claims it is more responsive with haptic feedback.

The new Magic Keyboard attaches magnetically, and the Smart Connector connects power and data without the need for Bluetooth. The machined aluminium hinge also includes a USB-C connector for charging, just like the previous generation Magic Keyboard. The new Magic Keyboard comes in two colours — black with a space black aluminium palm rest, and white with a silver aluminium palm rest. The new 11-inch Magic Keyboard is available for Rs 29,900 and the new 13-inch Magic Keyboard is available for Rs 33,900
