Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the journalists covering the Lok Sabha elections 2024 to take care of their health as temperatures across the country are high. Speaking to reporters after casting his vote in Ahmedabad, Modi said it is important to drink lots of water to hydrate.

“In such heat, you are working day and night, so please take care of your health. During the election season, journalists work a lot, and because of timeline pressure, you need to be ahead of the others,” Modi said. "I would urge you all to take care of your health and as I always say, you must drink a lot of water. The more you drink water, it is not only good for your health, but also helps maintain energy levels,” he added.
