SAMANTHA RUTH PRABHU ADMITS PAST MISTAKES IN BRAND ENDORSEMENTS; SAYS, 'I BELIEVE IN PRACTICING WHAT I PREACH'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently addressed the significance of healthy eating on her podcast, Take20. Following the episode's online release, an internet user pointed out her current emphasis on healthy habits, Comparing it with her past endorsements of unhealthy food and beverage brands.

The comment seemed to have affected Samantha deeply. In response, she wrote, “I have made mistakes in the past when I didn't know any better, but I have since declined many endorsements. I believe in practicing what I preach.”

Samantha also mentioned that she has integrated health and fitness into her lifestyle and aims to inspire those within her sphere of influence to adopt healthier lifestyles. The actress said that given how much she has learned, it is hard to now unsee things that she might have not been aware of earlier. Whether it is her choice of food or brands, her entire ethos is now focused on a healthy life.

Samantha also emphasised that it's time for her to make better choices. She explained that while her past endorsements may not have been ideal, she now prioritises partnering with brands that promote health and well-being. The actress ensures to thoroughly research and personally try products before endorsing them.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in the 2023 film Khushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda. She took a break from acting last year due to her myositis diagnosis. Her next project includes 'Citadel India', where she stars opposite Varun Dhawan. For those unfamiliar, the series is being developed by Raj and DK, the creators of 'Family Man' and 'Farzi'.
