PALAK CHAAT, CHANA KACHORI, KULFI: CHECK OUT ANANT AMBANI AND RADHIKA MERCHANT’S GRAND WEDDING MENU
With just nine days left for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's big fat Indian wedding in Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, several updates around the ceremony is circulating online. A highlight of the wedding plan includes a chaat stall from the famous Kashi Chaat Bhandaar in Varanasi. This came in light after the Reliance Foundation founder and chairman Nita Ambani visited the city in June to seek blessings at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple as part of the pre-wedding festivities.
According to ANI, Nita Ambani prsonally invited the shop owner, Rakesh Keshari, after sampling various chaats at his establishment. Keshari's team has reportedly been commissioned to set up a chaat stall at the wedding featuring tikki, tomato chaat, palak chaat, chana kachori, and kulfi.
"Nita Ambani came to our chaat bhandaar on June 24, where she tasted tikki chaat, tomato chaat, palak chaat, and kulfi falooda. She was very happy and said that the chaat of Banaras is very famous. It was a pleasure to serve her", Keshari told ANI.
Ever since Nita Ambani's visit, the chaat shop has gained immense popularity with people from across the globe flocking to the shop.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot on July 12, adhering to traditional Hindu Vedic customs. On the wedding day, the guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by dressing in traditional Indian attire.
The celebrations will continue on Saturday with Shubh Ashirwad, according to the leaked wedding invite. The final event Mangal Utsave or the wedding reception will take place on Sunday.
For this occasion, the guests have reportedly been asked to dress in Indian chic. Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Encor Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and entreprenuer Shaila Merchant.
Previously, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant had two extravagant pre-wedding festivities organised in Jamnagar and Europe, respectively. The pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar took place in the month of March which was attended by many who's who from the world of Entertainment, Politics and Business. Celebs like Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arijit Singh performed during the festivities. Similarly, the couple had a four-day pre-wedding festivities onboard a luxury cruise, where Katy Perry and The Backstreet Boys performed for the guests during the celebrations.
