'INTIMIDATION, HARASSMENT...': ZILINGO'S EX-CEO ANKITI BOSE FILES COMPLAINT AGAINST HER CO-FOUNDER, FORMER COO

Ankiti Bose, the co-founder and former CEO of Zilingo, has taken legal action against her fellow co-founder Dhruv Kapoor and former COO Aadi Vaidya. This step has prompted local authorities to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the pair. Bose has levelled allegations of cheating, criminal intimidation, conspiracy, and harassment against them, as per a report by TOI.

Bose in her complaint alleged that the duo employed offensive language, sent sexually explicit messages from untraceable accounts, and threatened her with online targeting, suggesting they would push her to a point of suicidal thoughts, reported TOI.

Bose's removal from her position in May 2022 by the Singapore-based B2B fashion startup, on grounds of alleged financial irregularities, laid the groundwork for this legal dispute. The complaint, comprising six pages claims that Kapoor and Vaidya engaged in deceptive practices to secure financial gains at her expense. Bose alleges that they coerced her into surrendering her shares and business under false pretenses.

TOI in its report quoted Bose, saying "I have been threatened, deceived, and had errors attributed to me for Vaidya to fraudulently acquire my shares, valued at multiple crores." Zilingo was started as a Southeast Asia-focused e-commerce firm. Over time, it became a global supply chain for the apparel industry, financing, and other services.
