SAMANTHA RUTH PRABHU TO STAR OPPOSITE ADITYA ROY KAPUR IN RAJ & DK'S 'RAKTABEEJ'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the leading actresses in the industry, has not only captivated audiences with her films but has also made a notable mark in the world of web series. She made her impactful debut in the digital space with 'The Family Man' season 2, gaining widespread acclaim. Now, the 'Pushpa' star is reported to collaborate once again with acclaimed directors Raj & DK, known for their gripping action thriller web series.

Reports suggest that the upcoming action drama, titled 'Raktabeej', directed by Raj & DK will mark Samantha's third collaboration with the ace director of OTT after the success of 'The Family Man 2' and the upcoming 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'.

According to a report by Mid Day, Aditya Roy Kapur is also returning to the web series arena and teaming up with the dynamic director duo, Raj & DK. Following his success with 'The Night Manager', Aditya has been in discussions with the directors for the past six months. After the triumph of his initial web series, he finally gave his nod to the new project in May.

Samantha would be expected to star opposite the heartthrob Aditya Roy Kapur which will mark their first collaboration.

Preparations for 'Raktabeej' are already underway. Both Samantha and Aditya are gearing up for their respective roles, given the show's intense action-oriented nature. The series is expected to start filming in August, right after Raj & DK wrap up their work on 'The Family Man 3'.

For the unversed, Samantha will star opposite Varun Dhawan in the upcoming web series, 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'. This action spy series is the Indian adaptation of the American series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.
