NAGARJUNA TO PLAY A COP IN DHANUSH’S KUBERA

The audiences have seen Nagarjuna as a cop in several of his earlier films. However, the role in his upcoming film, Kubera, starring Dhanush, will be a tad different. Although Nagarjuna plays a stylish cop in the Sekhar Kammula directorial, his layered role and character arc sets him apart. Apparently, Nag liked the way Sekhar has designed his character and the actor felt it was interesting enough to take the plunge. It’s been a long time since fans also got to see Nagarjuna in a cop role with interesting antics.

When Dhanush’s first look from the film Kubera was released on Maha Shivaratri, everyone found it to be intriguing. This was because Dhanush's appearance in the poster gave one the impression that he was a man in penury while the film had the titled Kubera (God of wealth). Dhanush was seen standing against the backdrop of Lord Shiva and Goddess Annapurna. While the motion poster set a spiritual ambiance, the filmmakers, sources say, will reveal more interesting anecdotes about Kubera soon.
