Kanguva Release Date Out: Director Siva's movie, featuring Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani, has a new release date. Initially scheduled for October 10, the fantasy-action film will now debut in theaters on November 14. The producers announced this change on X (formerly Twitter). The recently unveiled trailer has generated significant excitement, showcasing the South Indian film industry's commitment to delivering a grand and innovative experience. With its stunning visuals, dynamic performances, and captivating music, Kanguva is set to make a strong impact.

Fans can now look forward to its release on November 14, 2024. The film’s release was rescheduled to prevent a clash with TJ Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth, which is set to premiere for Dasara. Making the announcement, Studio Green wrote, "The Battle of Pride and Glory, for the World to Witness. #Kanguva's mighty reign storms screens from 14-11-24. #KanguvaFromNov14."

The film features Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and KS Ravikumar in supporting roles.
In Kanguva, Suriya will portray both a warrior tribesman and a modern man. Aside from the initial posters that hinted at his dual roles, the filmmakers have kept the plot details under wraps, revealing little about the story. Initially announced in 2019, the film was shelved due to the Covid-19 pandemic but was revived in 2022, with shooting completed in 2024. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Vetri Palanisamy and Nishadh Yusuf serve as the cinematographer and editor, respectively.
Kanguva is the biggest and most expensive film of the year, boasting a budget exceeding ₹350 crore—surpassing Pushpa, Singham, and other major releases. Filmed across seven countries on multiple continents, the movie aims for a distinctive look, set in a prehistoric era. To achieve this vision, the filmmakers enlisted Hollywood experts for critical technical roles, including action and cinematography. Additionally, it features one of the largest war sequences ever captured on film, involving over 10,000 participants.
Studio Green has partnered with top distribution houses to release the film on a massive scale across the globe on 14th November 2024.
