'GHILLI' MAKERS GREET VIJAY AFTER FILM'S RE-RELEASE SUCCESS

Actor Vijay's 2004 blockbuster 'Ghilli', which re-released in theatres on April 20, to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary, has been having a amazing run in the theatres with fans celebrating the film like never before. With the film running in theatres fully packed, Sakthivelan of Sakthi Film Factory, which distributed the re-release of met actor Vijay and congratulated him on the success of the film.

Interestingly, he also requested Vijay to do at least one film a year, amid his political aspirations, when he met him and honoured him with a huge garland. Producer AM Ratham and director Dharani also met Vijay on the occasion.

The Dharani directorial is a romantic comedy and the movie stars Vijay and Trisha in the lead roles. Sharing the video, Sakthi Film Factory wrote, "Today, @sakthivelan_b sir from Sakthi Film Factory had the pleasure of meeting Thalapathy @actorvijay to congratulate him on the massive blockbuster re-release of #Ghilli, brought to you by SFF. During the meeting, Sakthivelan Sir requested #ThalapathyVijay to consider acting in just one film a year, even amidst his political aspirations. The celebrations for his films are truly surreal!"

Meanwhile on the work front, Vijay, who was last seen in 'Leo', is now shooting for his next movie 'GOAT' with Venkat Prabhu. On the other hand, actress Trisha who was also last seen in 'Leo', is shooting for the film 'Vidaa Muyarchi' alongside Ajith.
