Ganesh Chaturthi, also called Vinayaka Chaturthi, is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and god of wisdom and prosperity. The festival lasts for 10 days, beginning on the fourth day of the Hindu month of Bhadrapada (August or September). Devotees install Ganesha idols in homes and public spaces, offering prayers and performing rituals. The festivities culminate in the immersion of the idols in water, symbolizing Ganesha’s return to his celestial abode, while also signifying the cycle of creation and dissolution.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in the series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’. The upcoming spy thriller features Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. The series has a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story, all set against the vibrant tapestry of the 90s. The show is set to premiere on November, 2024.
