EXCLUSIVE! 4N6 HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CRICKET BUT IS A SERIOUS CRIME THRILLER, REVEALS RACHANA INDER
Actress Rachana Inder impressed the Kannada audience with her performance in her debut venture Love Mocktail, wherein she portrayed a supporting role. Her maiden film as female lead was noted Kannada film director Shashank's Love 360, a romantic crime thriller that made Sandalwood sit up and take note of her acting skills.
In an exclusive interview to Times Now, the talented actress talks about her crime thriller that is titled 4N6 for a reason.
Nothing To Do With Cricket
Rachana's upcoming Kannada film is titled 4N6. What does this title mean? Actress Rachana Inder reveals it all. “Whenever I say that my upcoming movie is titled 4N6, the first thing they ask me is if the movie is based on cricket. Many, obviously connect it with the fours and sixes hit in the game of cricket,” explains Rachana.
However, the actress reveals that the title has nothing to do with cricket!
“The actual meaning of it is forensic! It doesn't stop there. Four crimes have occurred with six different suspects being involved with it and the letter N stands for Naisha, a forensic detective played by me,” she adds.
On The Lookout For Experimental Subjects
The reason why she chose to take up 4N6, Rachana says, was because director Darshan Srinivas, who is hardly 23 years old and making his directorial debut, came up to her with this interesting subject. It intrigued her and got her even more interested in experimental films.
“Since Love Mocktail, I have always been on the lookout for experimental content that just does require the routine kind of roles. I am excited to witness how 4N6 has come out as I blindly trusted the instincts of the director,” Rachana shares.
Even though she is getting offers from other language film industries, she says she will not take up any offer until and unless she feels the character offered to her is bound to make an impact on the audience.
On the work front, Rachana is dubbing for her new film Nanu Mathu Gunda 2, a sequel to Nanu Mathu Gundi and has signed two other big projects, which will be shortly announced by the makers.
