DIRECTOR ATIUL ISLAM SET TO BRING OUT THE 'THE HARSH REALITIES OF THE PRESENT SITUATION' IN HIS NEXT

Director Atiul Islam is set to bring a thrilling story with his upcoming film, Daanav, which is loosely based on a crime that took place at RG Kar Medical College on August 9. Scheduled to commence shooting next month, the film stars Ruppsha Mukhopadhyay and newcomer Piyal Khan as the lead protagonists.

In the film, Ruppsha will portray the role of a nurse whose life takes a harrowing turn, while Piyal will play her love interest, a morgue attendant whose world unravels when he encounters the body of his beloved Uma in the morgue for an autopsy.

Talking about the film, director Atiul Islam said, “The film will depict the harsh realities of the present situation, showcasing the extent of human cruelty. It will also illustrate the sacrifices a person can make for their loved ones.”

The cast also includes Kharaj Mukherjee, Laboni Sarkar, Kaushik Banerjee, Anindya Pulak Banerjee, Anindita Som, Hiyaa Roy, and Shreyaa Halder in prominent roles.
