PUSHPA 2 DIRECTOR SUKUMAR PLANS TO WRAP SHOOT IN NEXT 60 DAYS, SETS DEADLINE FOR ALLU ARJUN STARRER

Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most-awaited movies. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the Allu Arjun starrer, the last leg of its shoot is currently underway. Amid all this, it has now been reported that director Sukumar is planning to wrap up the Pushpa 2 shoot in the next 60 days. As reported by Deccan Chronicle, the filmmaker has set August 31st as a deadline to finish the Pushpa 2 shoot.

“The action-adventure will be wrapped up in 60 days and most probably the last day of the shoot would be August 31,” a source cited by the news portal claimed and then added, “The team is working round the clock to meet up with a new and challenging deadline.”

“It is a bit of pressure on the director who doesn’t want to compromise and intends to give his best. He has to take a chill pill because he is supervising three units shooting at different places and rushing against time to wrap up the action adventure,” the insider further shared.

In May this year, a report by Siasat also claimed that Sukumar had decided to shoot the film’s climax with utmost secrecy. Reportedly, he imposed a no-phone policy on sets to ensure no photo or video gets leaked during the climax shoot. Besides this, access to the script has also been restricted to a select few.

Meanwhile, the makers of Pushpa 2 also released the teaser of the film on Allu Arjun’s birthday earlier this year. In the teaser, the Telugu star was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported makeup with heavy traditional gold and flower jewellery. He was seen beating up goons.

Later, Rashmika also talked about the much-awaited film when she promised that it would be “bigger” than ever. “I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film, in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that,” she told Pinkvilla.

Pushpa 2: The Rule was supposed to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. However, it has now been pushed to December 6, 2024.
