ON 37TH BIRTHDAY, KANNADA STAR PRAJWAL DEVARAJ TEASES HIS UPCOMING COP THRILLER MAFIA

Kannada actor Prajwal Devaraj, popularly known as the Dynamic Hero, is celebrating his 37th birthday today. Prajwal, one of the most sought-after actors in the Kannada cinema, Prajwal is known for her acting prowess in the films Gentleman, Jeeva, Meravanige, Gulama, etc. The Jeeva actor is now eagerly anticipating the release of his cop thriller film written and directed by H Lohith. He has shared a post on Instagram that specifies the date and time of the film’s other teaser release, i.e., – July 4 at 06:15 PM. Mafia stars an ensemble star cast of actors Aditi Prabhudeva, Sadhu Kokila, Vasuki Vaibhav and others.

According to an earlier report, Mafia was ready for its release in 2022 but has not hit the big screens to date. The reason for this has not been specified. This cop thriller film is reported to have a lot of fight sequences directed by renowned stunt directors. Bangalore Kumar Films and Revanza Global Ventures have backed this project.

Besides Mafia, Prajwal will also play a key role in Gana, written and directed by Hari Prasad Jakka. The team has not revealed much about the film so far, until the teaser, that released on Prajwal’s birthday. The film is touted to be an action-packed entertainer, in which the dynamic hero is paired with Yasha Shivakumar. Meanwhile, actress Vedhika will also play a pivotal role. Unlike routine commercial entertainers, it seems Gana has a scientific angle.

The teaser did not reveal much more, based on the few fleeting visuals. However, users concluded that Hari Prasad has chosen to remake one of his earlier films for his Kannada cinema debut.
