LEE YOUNG JI WINS HER FIRST MUSIC SHOW TROPHY FOR 'SMALL GIRL' FEATURING EXO’S D.O. ON 'M COUNTDOWN'

Lee Young Ji celebrated a major milestone on the latest episode of Mnet’s “M Countdown” by clinching her first-ever music show trophy for her hit song “Small Girl.” The competition was fierce, with Red Velvet’s “Cosmic” as a strong contender, but Lee Young Ji emerged victorious with an impressive score of 6,031 points.

The track “Small Girl,” featuring the talents of EXO’s D.O., is the title song from Lee Young Ji’s debut EP “16 FANTASY,” which also dropped with its captivating music video on June 21. The song quickly gained popularity after its debut performance at her Taipei concert during her Asian tour.

D.O., whose real name is Doh Kyung Soo, was born on January 12, 1993, and is renowned as a member of the iconic boy group EXO. Starting his career after winning a local singing competition in 2010, D.O. quickly rose through the ranks as one of K-pop’s top vocalists. Beyond music, he has garnered acclaim for his acting prowess, starring in films like “Cart” and dramas such as “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” where he received accolades like “Best New Actor” at the 3rd APAN Star Awards.

Lee Young Ji’s collaboration with D.O. on “Small Girl” marks a synergy of talent that has resonated deeply with fans, solidifying her position as a promising artist in the music industry.
