SALMAN KHAN FIRING CASE: ACCUSED SAGAR PAL AND VICKY GUPTA SENT TO JUDICIAL CUSTODY TILL MAY 27 UNDER SPECIAL MCOCA

Mumbai Police are diligently investigating the shooting incident at Salman Khan's house on April 14. As per a recent report, the suspects, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, have been transferred to judicial custody.

Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta's police custody ended today, May 8 and they were sent to judicial custody under Special MCOCA.

According to a recent report from ANI, a Special MCOCA court has directed that two suspects, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, remain in judicial custody until May 27. Their police custody ended on May 8, and despite the police requesting an extension for further interrogation, the court decided to place them in judicial custody instead.

The report also stated that advocate Amit Mishra, representing the accused, expressed dissatisfaction with the court's decision and implied that the proceedings may have been predetermined.

He told ANI, "It is unfortunate that when they were produced on April 29, there were four accused, one of whom was granted judicial custody. Today, only accused numbers one and two were produced, while others were absent. The prosecution sought their police custody without concrete evidence. The court, however, sent accused numbers one and two to judicial custody which will be till May 27 considering from May 13."

Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, addressed the incident of gunshots at their house hours later, breaking his silence. Speaking to CNN News 18, he dismissed concerns, stating, "There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity; there is no need to worry."

On April 14, the first image of the gunmen surfaced on social media. Believed to be a snapshot from CCTV footage, the picture depicted both individuals wearing caps and carrying backpacks. One wore a white T-shirt with a black jacket and denim, while the other sported a red T-shirt and denim.

On the work front, Salman announced his next project with AR Murugadoss on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Titled 'Sikandar,' the film features him in the titular role.
