LAWYER FILES COMPLAINT AGAINST AKSHAY KUMAR'S 'JOLLY LLB 3', SAYS IT DISRESPECTS THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi starrer 'Jolly LLB 3' recently went on floors and the team had shared a quirky video announcing the same. The duo have been shooting in Ajmer and seem to have landed in trouble.

District Bar Association President Chandrabhan has apparently filed a complaint against the movie, alleging that the film will tarnish judicial dignity, reports NBT. A hearing of the complaint, which has been filed against the actors, producers and director, is scheduled to take place today. The report further stated that President Chandrabhan urged that the shoot of the film should be stopped, since the previous two parts made fun of the judicial system.

NBT quoted District Bar Association President Chandrabhan Singh Rathod as, "This decision has been taken considering the first and second parts of Jolly LLB. It seems that the film makers, directors and actors do not respect the dignity and prestige of the judiciary of the country's Constitution at all. The shooting of Jolly LLB 3 is going on in the surrounding villages and areas including the DRM office of Ajmer, which will continue for several days. Even during the shooting of this film, the actors of the film do not seem to be at all serious about the image, prestige and dignity of the judiciary including the judges."

As per the Bar President, the portrayal of lawyers and judges during the filming appears inappropriate, contrary to real-life scenarios. Such depiction, deemed both humorous and indecent, undermines the judiciary's reputation, as well as the dignity and image of legal professionals. The Bar President emphasized that through the complaint, the demand is to ensure that filmmakers consider these concerns during production.
