JANHVI KAPOOR IMPRESSES FANS WITH FLUENT TAMIL AT 'DEVARA: PART 1' CHENNAI EVENT; DESIRES TO FOLLOW IN SRI DEVI'S FOOTSTEPS
Janhvi Kapoor will soon be making her Telugu debut in the highly awaited action thriller 'Devara: Part 1' playing the female lead alongside Jr NTR. As the release date of the pan-India films approaches close the makers have been promoting the movie in various states through multiple events.
After the promotions in Mumbai, the makers recently attended the events in Tamil Nadu. The team interacted with the audience where the 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' actress, just mesmerized the fans with her Tamil language skills.
According to a report by 123Telugu, the actress greeted the fans with "Vanakkam" and expressed that Chennai has a special to her. Being the daughter of the legendary late actress Sri Devi, who made an illustrious name for herself in the film industry she mentioned her mother having fond memories of the state.
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor’s speech in Tamil was one of the major highlights of Devara’s promotional event in Chennai yesterday. Dressed in a beautiful white saree, the gorgeous actress won the hearts of Tamil fans with her fluent Tamil.

She said, "I hope you will give me the same love you gave to my mother. Your love is the reason why we are here today, and I am forever grateful to you all."
She also mentioned working as hard as her mother and finding a spot in the hearts of the audience like the 'Mom' actress. She expressed the team's dedication towards the film hoping that the audience would enjoy the cinematic experience of Devara and also shared her desire to be a part of a Tamil film soon.

Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, director Koratala Siva, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and other team members were present during the event.
Directed by Koratala Siva the movie also stars Saif Ali Khan who plays the primary villain. The movie is set to release on September 27th.
