HOW YASH MET NAMIT MALHOTRA TO FORGE THE PRODUCTION PARTNERSHIP FOR 'RAMAYANA'?

It is known that rock star Yash, best known for his role in the blockbuster 'KGF', is set to be seen in the epic 'Ramayana,' directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Adding to the excitement, recently it was also unveiled that Yash will not only grace the screen as the formidable Ravana but also step into the shoes of a producer alongside Namit Malhotra.

As per a report by Gulte, 'Ramayana' began with Yash's desire to bring Indian cinema to a global stage. During his research in Los Angeles, seeking collaboration with a VFX studio, chance intervened when he met Indian entrepreneur Namit Malhotra, who managed the studio. This meeting opened the way for their ambitious partnership.

Driven by a shared vision of bringing classic Indian stories to life, Yash and Namit set out to find a project that would live up to their goal. Following much discussion, the pair settled on the classic tale of 'Ramayana'. For Yash, the theme is profoundly personal, referring to his sense of style and creative vision.

In 'Ramayana,' Yash plays Ravana, while Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi play Lord Rama and Sita, respectively. Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol, and Sheeba Chaddha will be seen in the supporting roles in the film.
