AKSHAY KUMAR, FARDEEN KHAN'S 'KHEL KHEL MEIN' TO RELEASE IN SEPTEMBER
Akshay Kumar announced the release date of his upcoming film 'Khel Khel Mein'. The movie starring Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal and others in key roles, will release on September 6 in theatres. The date is special as it coincides with Akshay's birthday week.Â
On April 27, the film's team shared a picture of the entire star cast on Instagram and announced the release date. The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz. Officially announcing the release date as September 6, their caption read, "Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of laughter, drama & loads of fun! Mark your calendars for September 06, 2024, when #KhelKhelMein hits the theaters."

Reportedly, the movie is a situational comedy with three couples. Akshay mentioned in an interview that he is returning to the comedy genre with several films in the pipeline. The plot centers around a group of friends gathering for dinner, during which they unexpectedly reveal secrets about each other. This film is an official adaptation of the 2016 Italian comedy thriller 'Perfect Strangers.'
Meanwhile, other than 'Khel Khel Mein', Akshay Kumar also has 'Welcome To The Jungle,' slated for release during the Christmas 2024 weekend. Next, he will be seen in 'Sarfira,' directed by Sudha Kongara and set for a theatrical release on July 12.Â
